Bank holiday weekend

Sedge Warbler at Heacham South Beach
Not the regular Snettisham Tawny but one of the birds from Holme, roosting in the bushes at the end of the East Bank (taken with the 823). The male Firecrest was seen singing in the pines and one of the drake Garganeys made a quick visit to broadwater before dissapearing into one of the channels out on the marsh. The 2 Spoonbills were seen from the seawall at Burnham Norton, with Little Tern, Turtle Dove and Montys also finging their way onto the year list (187 I believe). Sunday morning was spent with the Iberian Chiffchaff, with a Saturday morning stop at Grafham to see the female Wilsons Phalarope, showing much closer than last years bird in Bucks.
